Difference: a key to enrich knowledge - Concepts and Models

چکیده
The aim of the paper is to show that diierences among several agents can have positive eeects in so far as they may generate original solutions and be a basis for a global enrichment of the agents' knowledge. Philosophical foundations of cooperation and of the positive aspects of connicts are rst explained. Our contribution next consists in i) a formal model devoted to the representation of the knowledge exchanged by the agents and to the characterization of their common knowledge; ii) a formal and implemented model allowing the dynamic process of common knowledge elaboration to be represented.
